Krewe des Chiens Peoples Ball – THIS FRIDAY! 2/3/2012

The Krewe Des Chiens’ People’s Ball will be held on Friday, February 3, 2012, at Abacus, 530 W. Pinhook in Lafayette, starting at 7pm.

There will be a silent auction, cash bar, and entertainment provided by The Hydramatics.

Krewe des Chiens Parade a HUGE Success!

What an absolutely gorgeously BEAUTIFUL day it was on Saturday, Feb. 26th, for the Krewe des Chiens dog parade! The crowds lining the streets for this annual parade just seem to get bigger and bigger every year! And we had a WONDERFUL turnout of PAAW clowns…errr… volunteers in their bright yellow PAAW T-shirts to walk with our adoptable dogs as part of this great Krewe’s event. The dogs seem to enjoy their costumes, meeting other dogs, the excitement and the adventure of being in the parade!

THANK YOU ALL for your support, and a very big THANK YOU to the Krewe des Chiens folks for doing this enjoyable event every year since 1999. We’re looking forward to next year already!

The three-day adoption event takes place Friday-Sunday, February 11-13, 2011 in all PetSmart stores. The goal is to find homes for more than 17,229 pets in need.

PAAW will be at Petsmart on Johnston Street for this adoption weekend.
