Chelsea Ellision
The Chelsea Ellison Band plays rockin’ blues in the veins of the Mississippi Hill Country as well as the early electric Chicago blues and beyond. Straight-up soulful, jazzy, and rollin’, the music will surely make you move. Lee Tedrow on guitar, Phil Kaelin on bass, as well as other special guests.

Good Vibes
Good Vibes hail from the deep south (Lafayette, LA to be exact). Check out their African Vibes, as well as the indie harmonies. Members of the band are: Jeff Lovvorn, Patrick Robichaux, Byrnes Tatford, Matt Mick, Spencer Black.

These guys played for PAAWs to Celebrate last year and they were AWESOME! We’re thrilled to have them back playing for your listening pleasure at our Howl-O-Ween celebration!

Tortue
Tortue is an all-original swamp-rock band made up of veteran musicians from the Lafayette/ Opelousas area. Displaying wide-ranging influences from Excello records to Creedence to The Band in the writing, Tortue puts it across with stellar playing and big fun.

Danny Kimball on drums, originally from Lake Charles, is a veteran of Louisiana music and countless bands going back to his teen years with the Bad Roads.
Lee Tedrow, bass, originally from Minnesota, has a long history in music including The Barking Ducks, Geno Delafose and The Nouveau String Band.
Blake Castille, guitar, from Opelousas has played all his life with his father Hadley Castille, Cheryl Cormier, Crystal Plamondon and area rock bands.
Phil Kaelin, guitar, originally from Ohio, rounds out the roster. He has played for years with rock bands including Synergy in Maine, as a singer-songwriter as a solo act, in Maine and Nashville and with Hadley Castille as a bass player for the last four years.

PetSmart Charities® Hosts Holiday National Adoption Event in all U.S. PetSmart® Stores Event goal is lifelong, loving homes for 15,800 pets

(Phoenix) – PetSmart Charities invites you to bring a pet home for the holidays during the Holiday National Adoption Event this November 13-15. Purina® Pro Plan®, Tidy Cats® and PetSmart® are the proud sponsors of this adoption event, which will be held in all 1,082 PetSmart® stores in the United States.

More than 2,000 animal-welfare agencies throughout the United States are expected to participate and will be presenting adoptable pets at every PetSmart Charities in-store adoption center. The event will take place Friday, November 13 through Sunday, November 15, 2009 with a goal of finding homes for 15,800 dogs, cats and small animals.

Not only will prospective pet parents get a new family member during this event, but they will also receive free samples from Purina Pro Plan, Tidy Cats and PetSmart®.

ABOUT THE HOLIDAY NATIONAL ADOPTION WEEKEND
Prospective adopters are encouraged to visit the PetSmart Charities’ Adoption Center inside any PetSmart® store in the U.S. from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14; and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, November 15. Adoptions are handled by participating animal-welfare groups.
