Christmas Puppies!

The pregnant chihuahua that was rescued from a puppy mill in St. Martin parish gave birth to a litter of six puppies on Christmas Day!

Last week PAAW got an e-mail that Animal Control in St. Martin parish took 21 Dachshunds and Chihuahuas from a property. It appears that this property was operating as an illegal backyard breeding puppy mill.

PAAW Receives Grant from Pedigree Foundation

PAAW wishes to thank the Pedigree Foundation for the generous grant awarded in November. PAAW will use this money to further our mission to save lives through spaying and neutering of cats and dogs. The Pedigree Foundation does good work by awarding these grants to pet rescue organizations throughout the nation. Thank you Pedigree Foundation!
